Description: A gather of molten glass is pulled from the crucible and fumed with tin oxide metallic particles. The glass is returned to the furnace and the metallic particles are iridized creating a spectral effect in the colors of the rainbow. These sparkling veils are then twisted to create the effect of the Genie rising from his lamp. A jade glass rod is torched onto its surface and the design is heated to a near liquid state as the piece is spun twisting the jade ribbon around the design. 4.25" L
